Presenters will be given a 25-minute slot, which includes 5 minutes for questions. The ideal number of slides for a 20/25 minute presentation is about 15/20. Presenters should have handouts available for their attendees, which should include further references, literature reviewing, and details about your methodology if required. Please note that the time limit will be strictly adhered to.
Abstracts should be up to 400-500 words in length (excluding references). The title should not be more than 15 words.
Submissions involving multiple authors: All correspondence will be via the lead author. Abstracts will carry the contact information of the lead author if more than one presenter is listed.
Firm commitment to attend
Following the peer review process, acceptance of an invitation to present is a firm commitment by you to attend and participate in the conference. Once the programme is drawn up, it is difficult to accommodate late withdrawal and can incur costs to METU. Payment for conference attendance must be completed before the program goes to print. It is the responsibility of each presenter to book and pay for their conference place in good time. If you are unable to present having accepted the invitation, please let us know as soon as possible so we can minimize disruption to the program.
Your contact details
Please be aware that apart from your telephone number, all contact details you put on your abstract will be included in your abstract and will, therefore, be published in the conference booklet and on the ESP website. If you would like us to use a different contact address (postal or email) than the one you supply for the abstract, please state this explicitly in your email when submitting your abstract.
IESPTA reserves the right to amend and correct spellings and errors etc in abstracts used for the conference.
